ECLW final: Tarnobrzeg wins first leg

KTS Enea Siarka Tarnobrzeg – Dr. CASL 3:2

 

Poland’s KTS Enea Siarka Tarnobrzeg beat Croatia’s Dr. CASL 3:2 in the first leg of the 2018/19 ECLW final making small advantage (12:8 in sets 185:176 in points) for the second match. Defending champion Dr. CASL will try to erase this deficit in the return leg scheduled for May 11th in the city of Zagreb. Croatian side eliminated Tarnobrzeg in the 2017/18 semi-finals in spite of losing first home leg 3:2 (they won 3:1 in Poland).

 

GU Rouchen secured two points for Tarnobrzeg as she beat both LI Jie and NI Xia Lian. Reigning ECLW champion led 2:1 after third encounter thanks to NI Xialian and FU Yu who overcame HAN Ying and Elizabeta SAMARA respectively. FU managed to reverse the score from 0:2 to 3:2. Actual individual European champion LI Qian beat LI Jie in the fifth clash.
