Four out of four first leg winners confirmed their supermacy

Already two semifinalists in Women’s and two in Men’s ETTU Cup are known. In the second leg of the quarterfinal four out of four teams who reordered open leg victories justified their status.

 

In Women’s ETTU Cup Metz TT won their match in Czech Republic even easier than last one at home. In the opening leg against SKST Mart Hodonin – Stavoimpex was 3:2 for guests whilst tonight French side needed one match less to secure the semifinal. XIN Liu won two matches whilst Carole GRUNDISCH won one. Renata STRBIKOVA clinched one point for hosts tonight.

 

TMK-TAGMET TAGANROG overcame TuS Bad Driburg 3:1 at home and 3:2 in Germany. Nina MITTELHAM scored twice for Germany’s side whilst all three players Olga VOROBEVA Elena TROSHNEVA and Valentina SABITOVA won their matches on opposite side.

 

In Men’s ETTU Cup Chartres ASTT won both matches against SG Stockerau. In France Robert GARDOS Par GERELL Alexandre ROBINOT beat Adam PATTANTYUS CHEN Weixing and David SERDAROGLU 3:1.

 

Vaillante Sports Angers TT overcame TTC Ostrava 2016 3:0 at home and 3:2 in Czech Republic. They were two matches down before Jens LUNDQUIST changed the course of the match. After he beat Ondrej BAJGER Thiago MONTEIRO and Jon PERSSON overcame Tomas TREGLER and Panagiotis GIONIS.
