” For the FLTT and the Organizing Committee of ETTC 2017 it is a great pleasure and honour on one hand and on the other hand a big challenge for a small federation organizing the biggest and most prestigious competition in Europe. We are very confident that Luxembourg will be a perfect host and that we can offer the best conditions to everyone. We managed to come to an agreement with ETTU in a spirit of a real partnership. We would like to take the opportunity to thank the Luxembourg Government the City of Luxembourg the National Olympic Committee the National Sports and Culture Centre d’Coque for their trust and support to make this event a reality. For me personally having around 200 registered full time or part time volunteers is an absolutely positive signal that we will have a successful event in coming September. Luxembourg is ready. The promotion plan will run from now on. The World Table Tennis Day on the 6th April will be one highlight with more table tennis at the School Sport Day in Luxembourg ” said FLTT President André HARTMANN.

We are grateful to the authorities of Luxembourg for their continued support. And Luxembourg may be seen as a relatively small country but the organisational skills of the Luxembourg Table Tennis Federation have proven to be great. We are looking forward to very well prepared European Championships in September.”
