Reigning champion of SEAMASTER ECLW Berlin to play against TT Saint-Quentinois and Hodinin

The draw for three club`s competitions was held today in the city of Guimarães (POR)

 

The draw for the SEAMASTER ECL Women and ETTU Cups (men and women) was held today in Guimarães (POR) in the draw room of the European Youth Championships venue.

 

Defending ECLW champion and four times winner TTC Berlin Eastside actual No. 2 seed shares Group D with with TT Saint-Quentinois from France and Czech Republic`s SKST Mart Hodonin – STAVOIMPEX. German side added strong Hong Kong`s player TIE Yana to their winning trio SHAN Xiaona Petrissa SOLJA Georgina POTA.

 

Top seeded KTS Tarnobrzeg will play in Group A beside 2016 ETTU Cup Women winner CP LYSSOIS Lille Metropole from France and German`s Tus Bad Driburg. Polish champion signed former individual European champion and current bronze medalist from 2016 European Championships Elizabeta SAMARA while super defensive trio continues: HAN Ying LI Qian Viktoria PAVLOVICH.

 

Third seeded Croatian Dr. CASL returns to the ECLW with two medalists from the LIEBHERR 2016 ITTF European Championships: FU Yu was runner-up LI Jie took bronze. Croatian side will play in Group D beside Hungary`s Szekszard AC (singed World No. 8 CHENG I-Ching) and ALCL TT Grand Quevilly from France.

 

The 2016/17 ETTU Cup Women winner Bursa Buyukshehir Belediyespor(No. 4 seed) is clear favorite in Group B. Turkish club will play against two times ECLW champion Linz AG Froschberg and double ETTU Cup winner UCAM Cartagena. Actual individual champion of Old Continent HU Melek will lead again Bursa’s side who signed two strong players Singapore’s ZENG Jian and Russia’s Yana NOSKOVA.

 

In total 73 clubs (36 men and 37 women) entered this year`s ETTU Cup. Group stage draw was held today.
