Elizabeta SAMARA recovers well after surgery

SAMARA will be replaced by her teammate Bernadette SZOCS.

Elizabeta SAMARA was forced to cancel her participation at the ITTF Europe Top 16 Cup (3- 5 Feb) in Juan-Les-Pins Antibes France. SAMARA went under surgery and her surgery successfully concluded

“I had problem with meniscus ” said SAMARA 40 mins after the procedure. “ It was so painful before it. I worried so much I could not sleep. I was so lucky doctors scheduled the intervention immediately in Constanta.”

SAMARA played last week as a member of the national team in the European Teams Championships Qualifications against Netherlands and then in Metz Champions League match.

“Everything went so fast. I felt something was wrong. Next day I flew home and yesterday I went to see the doctor. Now had a surgery. I have great trust in my doctor my physio also attended the procedure ” said SAMARA.

The recovery might take a month which means she could be ready for World Championships in Germany.

SAMARA will be replaced by her teammate Bernadette SZOCS.
