Bastien REMBERT triumphs at home tournament

2017 ITTF Premium Junior Circuit French Open

 

Bastien REMBERT of France held off the challenge of Haruki MIYAMOTO (7-11 5-11 11-7 11-8 11-6 11-7) to take the Junior Boys’ Singles trophy at the 2017 ITTF Premium Junior Circuit French Open in Metz. Azerbaijan’s NING Jing recovered from two games down to defeat the no.1 seed Maki SHIOMI (4-11 9-11 11-6 8-11 11-8 11-8 11-7) on her way to claiming the title in the Junior Gorls Singles Event

 

Previously REMBERT beat the no.3 seed Jiri MARTINKO (12-10 11-7 11-9 11-7) in the quarter-finals and also overcame Hungary’s Csaba ANDRAS (11-5 15-13 10-12 11-9 6-11 11-9) in the last four.

 

In the querters NING Jing beat Miyu NAGASAKI (11-7 8-11 11-6 7-11 11-8 11-8) before her victory over WONG Chin Yau of Hong Kong (11-4 9-11 11-8 11-4 11-7) saw her move through to the final.
