UMMC develops table tennis in Russia

In total 17 cities are involved in the project “Support Table Tennis”

 

Russian club UMMC continues its project “Support Table Tennis” launched in 2011 adding five more cities on its map. Now 17 Russian cities are involved in the project financed by UMMC Company.

 

Mission of the project is to involve children in sport on a regular basis creating favorable conditions for table tennis and to find talented young athletes.

 

So far 6 table tennis halls are renovated while 14 got new equipment. Other significant results are about 1 700 children playing table tennis on a regular basis and more than 700 involved in kindergartens programs in the city of Verkhnaya Pyshma.
