National Referee Course and Exam in Oslo

The European Table Tennis Union together with the Norwegian Table Tennis Association invites 15 umpires/referees to a National Referee Course and exam.

The course will cover all aspects of refereeing and will contain practical and theoretical training including overnight assignments. The course will conclude with a written exam and interview. Candidates that pass the exam/interview will receive a certificate.

Candidates need to have the Basic Referee level or the basic level under the national refereeing education process for at least 1 year be Qualified National Umpire for at least 1 year and have proven referee experience at least at a provincial or national level.

For NTTA the scope of the course is to start a new and improved national referee education based on the ITTF certified national referee course. The Norwegian candidates are expected to take part in the development and launch of this education. The course will for this reason have a ‘train the trainers’ approach and address how to build up a national education.

The course will start Thursday 24.august at 10:30 and conclude Sunday 27.august at 15:00.

Only nominations submitted by bona fide national associations will be considered.

The closing day for nominations is 24.may 2017. We need name e-mail and telephone for your candidates. The list of participants will be advised on or before 31.may 2017.  For replays and questions please address the NTTA: ghassan.chaer@bordtennis.no
