Cajasur Priego TM reached the knock out phase in Men and Women ETTU Cup

Spanish representatives joined top seeds after the end of group stages

 

With the last weekend’s Second stage tournament in Men and Women ETTU Cup the Group Stages in both categories concluded. At the end of the month from 30th October to 1st November the new phase with knock out system will commence.

 

In ETTU Cup Men two top ranked teams from the Second stage from each of four groups continued to the 3rd round. The draw is already conducted: Stella Sport la Romagne (France) will face DT Diddeleng. Club from Luxembourg hosted the group in the second stage and concluded the weekend at the position no. two. In the same Group GDCS Junical from Portugal finished at position no. one. They will meet another seed in the Third round – Logis Auderghem TT of Belgium with legendary Jean Michel SAIVE.

 

DKV Borges Vall from Spain will meet the Group B winners Fortune Kyiv from Ukraine whilst Roskilde Bordtennis BTK 61 from Denmark with Michael MAZE will play against Croatia’s STK Libertas MARINKOLOR. Team from Croatia finished at second position.

 

Istres of France will play against the Group B winners Cajasur Priego TM from Spain whilst Ukraine’s Trade Alliance Kiev will meet Group D winners El Nino EHW from Czech Republic. Halmstad of Sweden will meet Floraton SZEGED AC Probart of Hungary and Caen TTC from France will meet TTC Sokah Hoboken of Belgium.

 

In the third round of the ETTU Cup Women the top seeded French club ALCL TT Grand Quevilly will play against Spanish Tecnigen Linares. GDSC Juncal from Portugal will meet Budaörsi 2i SC from Hungary. Turkish representative Tigem Sports Club will face the opposition from the Spanish CTT Balaguer – Villart Logistic Russia’s SKNT LUCH Vladimir will play against Poland’s AZS UMCS Optima Lublin.

 

In the lower half of the draw LZ EASYTHERM Linz Froschberg from Austria will play against Portugal’s G.D.C.P. Madalena and Russia’s Kazan will meet Spanish Cajasur Priego TM. That means Spanish side will have both teams in the 3rd Round of the ETTU Cup again. Serbia’s TTC Novi Sad will meet Romania’s ACS Dumbravita and no. two seed Czech SKST Mart Hodinin will play against Turkey’s Istanbul BBSK.
