2000 entries less than two months before the first deadline

2016 World Veteran Table Tennis Championships

 

The 2016 World Veteran Table Tennis Championships will take place from Monday May 23rd until Sunday May 29th at IFA (Institución Ferial Alicantina) in Alicante/Elche Spain. The venue is prepared to accept up to 4000 entries.

Two days ago the organisers in Alicante/Elche in the Costa Blanca heart of the Mediterranean announced that they have reached the 2000 entries less than two month before the first deadline; the first deadline for entries is 15 December 2015 and the final deadline 29 February 2016.

At the top of the list is Germany with 636 entries followed by Spain 194 England 143 Sweden 115 and Japan with 113 entries. The registrations are coming from 53 different Associations.

The Men’s Singles over 50 is the one with more entries 432 whilst in Women the same category (over 50) is the one with more entries 149.
