The stand of the European Championships at the “INNOPROM-2015” was visited by more than 700 guests

Tatiana KUTERGINA and Grigory VLASOV officially opened the booth

 

From July 8th to 11th the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM-2015” was held in Ekaterinburg where the booth of the European Table Tennis Championships was presented. During that period the booth was visited by more than 700 participants and guests of the International Exhibition Center “Ekaterinburg-EXPO”.

Visitors had the unique opportunity to feel like they are the participants of the European Championships – to play on the official table of the tournament as well as to play virtual table tennis. On the first day of the exhibition organizers of the commercial stand prepared a surprise for the guests. The European team event Champion of 1976 and the World’s mixed Champion of 1975 Tatiana KUTERGINA and the bronze medalist of the 2013 European team event Championships Grigory VLASOV officially opened the booth played a symbolic game and gave a master class for those who wished.

“It’s not my first time at the IEC EXPO ” Tatiana KUTERGINA admitted. “ But I have never seen so many people interested; I was really impressed from the moment I entered the building. I have been at many European and World Championships but I can’t remember that the competitions have ever been promoted in this way. I am sure that the European Championships will be held at the highest level.

The booth of the European Championships was visited by the city authorities – the head of the city the chairman of the City Parliament  Evgeny ROIZMAN and the head of the City Administration Alexandr YACOB. At the opening there were also the chairman of the executive administration of the European Table Tennis Championships Vladimir BELOGLAZOV and general directors of the companies-sponsors of the tournament Andrey KOZITSYN (the “UMMC” holding company) and Evgeny CHUDNOVSKY (the “Airports of regions” holding company).
