Czech SKST Havířov Advances to Europe Cup Men Quarterfinals with Dominant Home Victory

SKST Havířov secured their place in the Europe Cup Men quarterfinals, overcoming UNIVERSIDAD DE BURGOS – TPF in both legs, first in Spain and then tonight on home soil in Czechia.

In the opening leg, the Spanish side suffered a narrow 2-3 defeat, with Cai SHUNHANG delivering an outstanding performance, securing two points for his team. However, Havířov’s collective teamwork proved to be their greatest strength, allowing them to edge past their opponents.

Tonight, Havířov had a much easier task, as the Chinese star was absent from the visiting team’s lineup. With the Spanish team missing their key player, Jan VALENTA, Adam STALZER, and Michal BLINKA dominated the match, defeating Simon BELIK, Aitor COLINA, and Enrique GARCIA NIETO in straight matches, each concluding in straight games.

Yesterday, UKS Dojlidy Białystok, STK Vyhne, REAL CLUB CAJASUR PRIEGO TENIS DE MESA, SF SKK EL NINO PRAHA and HB Ostrov z.s. already secured quarters.
