Russia’s representative in the Metz’s jersey Mariia TAILAKOVA had pivotal role in the Metz’s triumph tonight. HB Ostrov Havlíčkův Brod worked hard for home match win
In Czech Republic HB Ostrov Havlíčkův Brod managed to secure opening leg victory in the quarterfinal of the TAMANNEFTEGAS Europe Cup Men. After almost two and a half hours and five matches they beat Spanish ASISA Borges Vall. All three players from Ostrov’s side contributed with one win each. Tomáš TREGLER gave a dream opening to his team with the victory over Marc DURAN 3:0 (11:7 11:7 11:6). The only player who scored on the opposite side was Victor BRODD. He beat Michal OBESLO in the second match 3:0 (11:5 11:8 11:6) and also prevailed against TREGLER in fourth 3:1 (13:11 11:5 4:11 11:3). Dmitrij PROKOPCOV overcame Joan MASIP 3:0 (12:10 11:5 11:9). After title in Czech Cup Hodonin welcomes Berlin with optimism

Italy’s ASD QUATTRO Mori Cagliari travels to Hungary on Saturday to the opening leg of the TAMANNEFTEGAS Europe Cup opening leg against SH-ITB Budaörsi Sport Club. They showed impressive run in the Group stage against TT Moravsky Krumlov Girbau Vic TT and Tecnigen Linares. “We’re happy to play in quarter final of the Europe Cup. Last qualifying stage wasn’t easy and the girls fought real hard to secure the knock out stage. We succeeded without losing a match. We had teams from Champions League and we all were so proud of this result ” explained coach Mattia CONTU. Without any doubt SH-ITB Budaörsi Sport Club is the club with great results on their record. “We are going to face a really good team and the girls are ready for the next battle.
