After months of spectacular battles across Europe, the HYLO® Champions League Men Final 4 began in Saarbrücken, where four ambitious clubs will fight for the most prestigious trophy in European club table tennis.

Olympic and World Championship medalists, rising stars and legendary clubs are all set to take centre stage at Saarlandhalle for a weekend that promises world-class table tennis, unforgettable atmosphere and dramatic battles for every point.

Defending champions 1. FC Saarbrücken TT begin their quest for another European crown against KS Orlen Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki, while the second semi-final will bring together French sensation Alliance Nîmes/Montpellier TT and European giants Borussia Düsseldorf in another blockbuster clash.

Reigning champions 1. FC Saarbrücken TT opened the HYLO ETTU Champions League Men Final 4 in dominant fashion, taking the lead against KS Orlen Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki in the opening semi-final.

Olympic champion and nine-time World champion Zhendong FAN showed his class from the very first point against Europe’s highest-ranked Polish player, Milosz REDZIMSKI. The Chinese superstar left no space for surprises and controlled the match throughout, securing a convincing straight-games victory.

“It is a tremendous thing that we have FAN with us. It relieves a lot of pressure from aiming for another title,” said Ovidiu IONESCU before the encounter.
