Matteo MUTTI and Gaia MONFARDINI claimed the singles titles at the Italian National Championships in Terni.

MUTTI secured his first senior national title after defeating defending champion John OYEBODE in the final (4-1). On his way to the title, he overcame Mihai BOBOCICA in a dramatic seven-game semifinal, while OYEBODE booked his place in the final with a straight-games victory over Marco CAPPUCCIO.
In the women’s event, MONFARDINI also celebrated her maiden singles crown, overcoming experienced Nikoleta STEFANOVA (4-2). In the semifinals, she turned the match around against Nicole ARLIA after trailing 0-2, while STEFANOVA advanced with a dominant win over defending champion Giorgia PICCOLIN.
