Dutch National Table Tennis Championships 2025: Top Players Set for Action in Zwolle

The Dutch National Table Tennis Championships will take place at Landstede Sportcentrum in Zwolle this weekend, showcasing the best players from the Netherlands in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles categories. With last year’s champions returning to defend their titles and rising young talents aiming for their first national crowns, the tournament promises high-level competition.

Schedule and Draw Information

The full schedule of the championships can be found at NTTB Tournament Website.
The draw will be finalized this evening and will be available late at night via the same link. It will also be published on the NTTB’s social media channels on Saturday morning.

2024 Champions

  • Men’s Singles: Milo DE BOER (1st national title)
    • Notable fact: His father, Michel DE BOER, won the title in 2010 and 2021.
  • Women’s Singles: Tanja HELLE (1st national title)
  • Men’s Doubles: Milo DE BOER / Lode HULSHOF
  • Women’s Doubles: Tali COHEN / Sanne DE HOOP
  • Mixed Doubles: Tali COHEN / Barry BERBEN

Women’s Singles – Title Defense for HELLE or a Comeback for MEN?

With Britt EERLAND, the top favorite, forced to withdraw due to injury, the women’s singles title race is wide open. The top two contenders are:

  • Shuohan MEN – A three-time national champion (2018, 2021, 2022).
  • Tanja HELLE – The defending champion aiming for her second consecutive title.

With EERLAND out of the competition, both MEN and HELLE have a strong chance of securing the national crown, though surprises from emerging talents cannot be ruled out.

Men’s Singles – Four Top Contenders, Two Rising Stars

The men’s singles event is expected to be highly competitive, with four leading players and two young outsiders in the mix.

Main contenders:

  • Gabrielius CAMARA – The top seed and the highest-ranked Dutch player in the draw.
  • Milo DE BOER – Defending champion, looking to retain his title.
  • Kas VAN OOST – Consistently one of the top Dutch players.
  • Barry BERBEN – Previous national champion with a strong competitive record.

Potential surprises:

  • Ivan KAHN (17) and Brent RONDE (17) – The youngest players in contention, both considered dark horses with the potential to challenge the favorites.

Doubles and Mixed Doubles – Strong Pairs Ready to Compete

In the doubles events, last year’s champions will aim to defend their titles, but strong opposition is expected.

  • Women’s Doubles: COHEN/DE HOOP return as favorites.
  • Men’s Doubles: DE BOER/HULSHOF will try to repeat their 2024 success.
  • Mixed Doubles: The defending champions COHEN/BERBEN will once again aim for the title.
