Liu YANGZI Powers ETIVAL A.S.R.T.T to Third Victory in Champions League Women Group D

French ETIVAL A.S.R.T.T continued their dominant run in the Champions League Women Group D, recording their third win of the Stage 2 with a home victory against Spanish UCAM Cartagena. With one match remaining, scheduled in December against Hungarian Budaörsi Sport Club, the French club has already secured a place in the quarterfinals.

In the previous rounds, ETIVAL defeated both UCAM Cartagena and Budaörsi Sport Club with 3-1 victories. Meanwhile, Spanish UCAM Cartagena beat Budaörsi 3-0 in their opening leg, setting up a decisive clash between the two next month to determine the second qualifier from the group.

This afternoon, Liu YANGZI was instrumental in ETIVAL’s success, winning her matches against Maria XIAO and Sofia-Xuan ZHANG. Christina KALLBERG fell to Sofia-Xuan ZHANG, while Jieni SHAO benefited from a walkover after Silvija ERDELJI was forced to withdraw due to injury.
