02/02/2011 – Dubravko SKORIC (50 years/Croatia) has signed a 2 years contract with German Bundesliga club Ochsenhausen. He spent the last 18 years at La Villette Charleroi. But in the last two years the Belgian side (9 finals in 10 years – 5 victories – in Champions’ League!) has been surrounded by enormous financial problems.

One of the most successful chapter in the history of Villette Charleroi is about to be finish. SKORIC who lead the club from 1992 and added the 7 European Champions leagues titles and 13 finals in record books will leave. “The situation in Charleroi is becoming increasingly difficult and it’s been two years since it lasts. On one side are those 18 years in the club and on the other is my responsibility as a husband and father. I am 50 years old and my patience has been enormous. I am very tired. I am especially disappointed with the way things have evolved. I’m looking for stability ” said SKORIC.

Ochsenhausen is another permanent member of the Champions League: “They have 12 young Europeans the club has two full time managers. In addition they have injected 2 million ? for a new hall and the budget is fixed for three years. It is a very exciting challenge.

Meanwhile there is a season to finish with the second leg of Champions League against Angers on its way on Friday 11th March in Spiroud?? “Our 3-1 defeat in France was a blow but I can assure you that our team wants revenge.

A semi-final it would be the 11th in a row (!) what a lovely parting gift …
