04/04/2011 – On Saturday 9th April 2011 from 2pm until 5 pm Ormesby Table Tennis Club will be hosting a Forum to promote table tennis for women and girls in the North East Region with the hope of increasing the participation by women and girls in all areas of the sport – as players coaches and organisers.

The afternoon will commence with interviews with our leading young international players Karina LEFEVRE Chloe WHYTE and Jessica DAWSON who will then put on an exhibition and carry out some coaching for the young girls present.

The Forum will continue with a report of a recent National Forum advice on coaching opportunities for women and other presentations and will conclude by drawing up proposals on how to attract more women and girls into a sport that provides fun fitness and training leading to international representation plus opportunities for women of all ages.

The Forum is open to everyone and there is no entry fee.
