England, Scotland and Wales booked their place at the top 8 teams at the Men’s Event at the 19th Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships in New Delhi, India. 

Christopher DORAN, Samuel WALKER, Andrew BAGGALEY, Daniel REED of England are the members of the team of England. They overcame all adversaries in their Group – New Zealand, Malaysia and Canada. Women’s team with HO Tin-Tin, Joanna PARKER, Hannah HICKS and Kelly SIBLEY overcame Wales with Charlotte CAREY, Chloe THOMAS, Angharad PHILLIPS, Megan PHILLIPS and New Zealand to secure top position in their respective group.

Scotland’s Gavin RUMGAY, Craig HOWIESON, Sean DOHERTY, Scott BARTON are on the top of group D. They overcame Ryan JENKINS, Stephen JENKINS, Daniel O’CONNELL of Wales and Sri Lanka.

Ireland’s Paul MCCREERY, Ashley ROBINSON, Keith KNOX, Peter GRAHAM are second in Group B. They lost against Singapore and beat Maldives.

Scotland’s Lynda FLAWS, Corinna WHITAKER, Gillian EDWARDS beat Maldives, but lost against Malaysia.
