Alexey LIVENTSOV stole the show on the third day of play at the ITTF World Tour Korean Air Korean Open in Incheon. After ousting Chinese Taipei’s CHIANG Hung-Chieh in the first round (11-8, 9-11, 11-8, 11-4, 11-8), he caused a major upset in the second round by overcoming Japan’s Seiya KISHIKAWA, the no.14 seed, in five games (11-9, 11-7, 11-2, 5-11, 12-10). Alexey LIVENTSOV, had emerged successful in the qualification stage of affairs before upsetting the global order . Adrien MATTENET of France also booked his place in next round by overcoming JEONG Sangeun of Korea in five games.

MATTENET teamed up with XU Xin of China and he will meet CHO Eonrae of Korea and MA Lin of China on their way to the semis. In Women’s Doubles Event Yana NOSKOVA and Elizabeta SAMARA reached quarterfinal. They will play against FENG Tianwei and YU Mengyu of Singapore.
