The 2013 Korea Junior & Cadet Open – ITTF Premium Junior Circuit started today at Daejeon with team’s events. German hope Henrik Alexander FISCHER was a member of Chinese Taipei’s-German squad which passed the group stage successfully, but lost in quarter final clash from further champion Korea Republic A. FISCHER, WANG Wei and YANG Tzu-Yi beat two teams in group stage, Japan A and mixed Singapore-Korea team.

Single event starts tomorrow, as six European members will compete in junior group stages. Totally 24 junior boys are divided in six groups. Europeans are in Group 2 – Colin LANZ (Switzerland), Group 3 – Elias RANEFUR (Sweden) and Group 4 – Jonas STENER (Sweden) and Henrik Alexander FISCHER (Germany).

Two Swedish girls are among 22 players in Junior Girls single event. They are Maria ENGELSON (Group 3) and Linda BERGSTROM (Group 6).

Hannes IWARSSON (Sweden) is unique European in Boys` events.
