In the opening leg of the Women’s ETTU Cup quarterfinal SVS Strock showed no weakness. Despite great efforts from host club, DR CASL failed to produce the victory at the home soil in Zagreb. 

Barthel ZENQI suffered by the hands of European champion LI Fen. In third game it was 13:11, but eventually match finished with straight games win for Swede. Young Lea RAKOVAC lost against Tatiana BILENKO in leveled match that lasted for four games. At the end Petra LOVAS also needed four games to overcame Suncica VUGRINEC and to secure advantage for guests before duel in Austria at the end of January.
