After first two days of proceedings at the 2014 YOG Continental Qualification – Europe in Czech city of Hodonin the names of four qualifiers are already known. There are 4 more places for Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games to be gained tomorrow. French play,

French player Can AKKUZU and Poland’s Patryk ZATOWKA reached the final of the Junior Boy’s Singles Event, thus booked the places for China. In semis AKKUZU beat Diogo CHEN of Portugal 4:2 (11:6,11:5,10:12,11:6,12:14,11:6), whilst ZATOWKA overcame Tomislav PUCAR of Croatia 4:1(11:8,11:9,11:7,13:15,11:4).

In Women’s Singles Event Natalia BAJOR of Poland overcame Nicole TROSMAN of Israel 4:3 (9:11,11:6,11:5,6:11,11:5,6:11,11:7), whilst Maria MALANINA of Russia overcame Audrey ZARIF of France 4:1 (11:7, 15:13, 6:11, 11:4, 11:5).

All entries must be ratified by the relevant National Olympic Committee.
