The upcoming 2014 Sterilgarda European Table Tennis Youth Championships to be held in Riva del Garda (Italy) from 11th to 20th of July will feature an outstanding novelty. The Italian Table Tennis Association and the Garda Trentino organization decided to set-up an exciting “Fun Zone” destined to be a great place to get familiar with this massive event gathering 46 participating countries.

With the huge 10-day tournament running in the Baltera Expo-fair’s pavillons all day long the “Fun Zone” situated in central Piazza Battisti (in front of La Rocca monument surrounded by restaurants and cafes just by the Lake Garda) will be a superb tourist attraction and much more.

In fact visiting the tensostructure the international TT fans will be able to support their favorite players and cheer them up watching the live coverage on one of the plasma screens. At the same time the fantastic location should catch the eye of many sport fans and tourists.

The “Fun Zone” will offer a great deal of entertainment indeed. Three TT tables will be placed under the large tent. Everyone will be able to try their hand at the table for free and even compete against each other.  If someone wishes to hear a word of advice or would like to improve his technique the TT coaches will be more than happy to give their assistance. Near the tables a small VIP lounge will be also placed to welcome special guests. Multilanguage hostesses will serve a helping hand in case of any questions about the event or Garda Trentino attractions.

The organizers aim  to highlight Sterilgarda EYC “Fun Zone” as a massive meeting point where plenty of Garda Trentino’s visitors from all around Europe may have the opportunity to  live the atmosphere of a new sport experience.
