For Women’s ETTU Cup first round we can say: It was good to be seeded no. three in the Group. All four clubs who started the competition at position no. three in their respective Groups managed to secure the passage to second round reserved for two best clubs after this weekend’s competition.

In Group one Russia’s UMMC Junior progressed to the second round with all three victories. Two out of three of victories against TTC Neuhausen of Switzerland and Draycott and Long Eaton of England were recorded against better ranked teams. Top seeds TTC Neuhausen managed to progress to the second round from the second position.

Dutch Dozy Den Helder Noordkop justified their rankings and recorded all three victories. However to the next stage will go Romania’s Dumbravita instead of Spanish Falcons Sabadell AE. Romania’s team only lost against Dutch team.

In Luxembourg Rued also stood the test in very effective way. They succeeded to the next phase after four straight matches victories. Spanis Linares will follow them after Buducnost failed to justify their position of no. two seed.

ASD Tennistavolo Norbello showed no mercy against all adversaries in fourth group. They will play in the second round alongside Portugal’s GDCDP Madalena
