After first day of the competition at the Europe Top 10 in Tours the only unbeaten player in Junior Boys Event is Croatia’s Filip ZELJKO. Croatia also has player at the top of the Junior Girls standings. Lea RAKOVAC shined today. Filip ZELJKO overcame his teammate Tomislav PUCAR David REITSPIES of Czech Republic and Alexandre CASSIN highest ranked player on duty in France.

The junior who clinched the gold in singles at the European Youth Championships in Italy Alexandre CASSIN overstep big hurdle in Tours. In the opening round of the Junior Boys Event at the Europe Top 10 in Tours for a first time he beat his teammate Can AKKUZU. “It is amazing. I won against AKKUZU for a first time. It is always so difficult to play against French players. Now I can focus on my next duels with less pressure ” said CASSIN.

Killian ORT saved match ball against Diogo CHEN to beat him in seven games encounter. “In our last meeting before the Youth Olympics I save four match points against him. All our matches are very close” said ORT.

ORT suffered in second round against Tomislav PUCAR and succeeded against David REITSPIES of Czech Republic in the last match of the day.

At the last round of the day in Junior Girls Category three players entered unbeaten but only one finished the day with three victories. Lea RAKOVAC  beat  Pauline CHASSELIN of France WAN Yuan of Germany and Natalia BAJOR of Poland. “I am in good shape here and I hope to win all the matches ” promised RAKOVAC. “Against BAJOR it was most difficult to play. I am a little bit tired because it was the last match of the day. I stayed whole afternoon in the hall. However at the end when it was hardest I gave my best ” .
