Andrea DRAGOMAN is the winner of the Cadet Girls Singles Event at the European Youth Top 10 in Tours. Girl from Romania won eight matches and lost only one. Second on the list is another Romania’s representative – Adina DIACONU and third is ZHANG Xuan of Spain.

The list goes on with Maria TAYLAKOVA of Russia Lisa LUNG of Belgium Izabela LUPULESKU of Serbia Daria TRIGOLOS of Belarus Anastasi KOLISH of Russia Lucie GAUTHIER of France and Sabina SURJAN of Serbia.

DRAGOMAN started her victorious journey with the win over top favorite her teammate Adina DIACONU. In a very first round Andrea overcame no.one seed.

“It was surprise even for me. I came here with mind set on the fourth of fifth place. I never thought I could win. Especially I did not think I can beat Adina ” said DRAGOMAN.

At that moment have you thought you can be better then fourth of fifth? “No. The competition here was very hard. Ahead of me I had matches against Lisa LUNG ZHANG Xuan Maria TAYLAKOVA…”

But the rankings of other player did not stop her of trying. “I played against Daria TRIGOLOS before and overcame her so I was ready but I was little bit concerned before the match against Izabela LUPULSEKU. We played against each other last time in 2010. Against Maria TAYLAKOVA I lost twice but this time I was better. Against Lisa LUNG last time when I lost it was 3:4 and I was very sad ” said DRAGOMAN.

Andrea DRAGOMAN the member of the Romania’s club CS Romgaz Medias was in national team in European Youth Championships. She won gold medal. Also this year she clinched titles in France and Italy.
