Twice in a week Fakel Gazproma Orenburg defeated Saarbrucken 3:0 this time at home.  Russian champion became a first semi-finalist of 2014/15 Men’s European Champions League.

Alexey SMIRNOV beat Tiago APOLONIA in four games of the first match. Dimitrij OVTCHAROV lost opening set from Adrien MATTENET but reached next three in a row to provide 2:0 lead for the host.

Vladimir SAMSONOV met Slobodan GRUJIC in the latest encounter but as it could expected Saarbrucken`s Coach is not in the shape in which used to be when he was a player. In his best days GRUJIC was able to beat great Byelorussian as he did it in straight games playing the 2004/2005 MECL final. That victory helped a lot Gonnern to beat Charleroi and reach the title.
