Bojan TOKIC won Slovenian national championships 8th times as he beat Jan ZIBRAT in six games of the final which was held in Jesenice. It was a successful comeback of Sarabrucken`s player who lifted his last trophy seven years ago. After 2007 title he missed all championships so far due to obligations in Bundesliga. Women`s champion is Manca FAJMUT who celebrates third time in a row. She overcame Tamara PAVCNIK. Six times national champion Biljana TODOROVIC canceled her participation in the last moment.
