ALICIC and HADZIAHMETOVIC succeeded in Bosnia and Herzegovina

More then 80 men and 24 women fought for the titles at the Bosnia and Herzegovina Championships held last weekend in Ilijas. Player from Zenica Armin ALICIC clinched the title in Men’s whilst Emina HADZIAHMETOVIC succeeded in Women’s Event. It is Emina’s seventh title in the row.

Armin ALICIC needed only four games to beat former Olympian Srdjan MILICEVIC. Before the final MILICEVIC showed very good performance but at the last hurdle he run out of steam. He could not find the answer for ALICIC’s sharp strokes. Bronze went to Anes ALIC and Isak ABDAGIC.

Emina HADZIAHMETOVIC won her first senior title as a cadet and she is still unbeatable at the Championships. In the final in Ilijas she overcame Miljana ANTONIC. In semis Danira MUMINOVIC and Ivona BASKARAD lost their encounters.
