Player from Germany keeps the winning rhythm of top seeded CASSIN

In Junior Boys Singles Event at the 2015 ROMSTAL European Youth Top 10 in Buzau two Frenchman occupying the top two seeded places easily prevailed against lower ranked opposition in the opening rounds. The matters went exactly according to seeding in the third round as well when they met each other. Alexandre CASSIN overcame Can AKKUZU in six games.

Previously CASSIN overcame Andreas LEVENKO of Austria and Romain RUIZ of France whilst Can AKKUZU prevailed against Alexandru MANOLE of Romania and RUIZ.

Dennis KLEIN of Germany beat MANOLE Bence MAJOROS of Hungary and Darko JORGIC of Slovenia to conclude the day unbeaten.

“I was very nervous at the beginning of the tournament. I was even 1:2 down against MANOLE. Against Bence it was much easier. We used to practice a lot together in Ochsenhausen so I knew his style ” said KLEIN.

Andreas LEVENKO of Austria lost against CASSIN in the opening round then suffered against Konstantin CHERNOV Russia before he beat Alexandru MANOLE in the third round.

“I practiced hard for this tournament. I wanted to do well here but two days before my departure to Buzau I felt the pain in my shoulder. I am injured and I am not sure how I won this match against MANOLE ” admitted LEVENKO.

Only in the third round favorites were severely tested. MAJOROS beat Konstantin CHERNOV of Russia and RUIZ prevailed against Aliaksandr KHANIN of Belarus.
