Titles for NADJNEMEDI and CIOBANU

U 21 Balkan Championships

 

At the U 21 Balkan Championships held in FYRO Macedonia Valentin NADJNEMEDI of Serbia and Irina CIOBANU of Romania clinched the titles in their respective Men’s and Women’s Singles Events.

 

In the final NADJNEMEDI beat Alin SPELBUS of Romania. Alexandru MANOLE of Romania and Nikola MARINKOVIC of Serbia won bronze. CIOBANU beat Serbia’s Anita MAKSUTI at the final hurdle. Izabela LUPULESKU and Diana LUPU won bronze.

In men’s Doubles Event Ilija MAJSTOROVIC and NADJNEMEDI won gold MANOLE and SPELBUS are the runners up. MARINKOVIC and Nikola STRUGAREVIC won bronze as well as Kristijan STANOJSKI of FYROM and Rares SIPOS of Romania. Serbia’s Aneta MAKSUTI and Viktoria TRUZINSKI arre the new Balkan champions in Women’s Doubles. They overcame CIBANU and LUPU in the final. Serbia’s Anna FENJVESI and LUPULESKU are third as well as Krasimira and Maria YOVKOVA of Bulgaria.

SPELBUS and CIOBANU won the title in the Mixed Doubels Event. Second is combination of STRUGAREVIC MAKSUTI.
