As many times before Marcos FREITAS did the main job in his team. Tonight he beat both Constantin CIOTI and Bastian STEGER while the third Pontoise`s point secured Kristian KARLSSON.

Portuguese first defeated CIOTI in straight games. Then Swede prevailed against former individual bronze medalist from European Championships Bastian STEGER. Host lost the first gem missing one set ball but after that took three sets in a row.
