Japan clinched top prizes in Junior Teams Events Slovenia third in Cadet Girls

2016 Slovenia Junior & Cadet Open

The matches in Team’s Events at the 2016 Slovenia Junior & Cadet Open concluded today. In both Junior Boys and Girls Teams Event Japan clinched the top prize. In Boys category it was Japan’s Yu KAYAMA Aoto ASAZU and Takeru KASHIVA whilst in Girls category Kana TAKEUCHI and Yuko KATO succeeded with the help of USA’s Amy WANG.

Japan beat combined team of Taipei and USA in full distance match to clinch the title. In semi final they prevailed against Cedric MEISSNER Istvan MOLNAR and Patrick JUHASZ from team composed of Hungary’s and German’s players. Germany with Jannik HU Fanbo MENG and Alexander GERHOLD also clinched bronze.

In Junior Girls Team’s Event Japan – USA overcame Taipei – Hungary’s team with SU Pei Ling WEN Ruei Ling and Korda KITTI in the final. Croatia’s Klara CAKOL Andrea PAVLOVIC and Leona SANTEK won bronze as well as Germany’s Janina KAMMERER Jennie WOLF and Caroline HAJOK.

In Cadet Boys Teams Event Germany’s Danile RINDERER and  Kay STUMPER beat USA’s Gal ALGUETTI and Sharon ALGUETTI in the final. Croatia won two bronze medals. Ivor BAN Lovro ZOVKO and Filip BOROVNJAK lost in the semi final against Germany whilst USA beat Leo VEKIC and Gustavo CASTILLO from Chile -Croatia team.

France’s Cloe CHOMIS Celia SILVA and Prithika PAVADE won gold in Cadet Girls Team’s Event. They overcame Germany’s Anastasia BONDAREVA and Sophia KLEE at the final hurdle. Bronze went to Slovenia with Lea PAULIN Lara OPEKA and Katarina STRAZAR and Lucia CORDERO from Guatemala and Agata PASZEK from Poland.
