JOOLA European Youth Top 10 in Prague

In Cadet Girls Singles Event at the JOOLA European Youth Top 10 in Prague very few matches concluded the way rankings predicted on the first day of the play. Even top seeded Anastasia KOLISH of Russia was among the favorites who suffered. Prithika PAVADE of France was the player to cause most of the upsets ZHOU Chuyi of Azerbaijan Anna WEGRZYN of Poland and Ekaterina ZIRONOVA followed her closely.

KOLISH lost against ZHOU Chuyi of Azerbaijan her second round duel but at the end of the day she recovered well to beat Laura TIEFENBRUNNER of Germany in the last match of the day.

Seeded at the position no. 6 Prithika PAVADE beat all her better-ranked adversaries today. She started the day with the seven games victory over Marta VUKELIC of Croatia continued with the five games win over Tania PLAIAN of Romania and sealed the day with the victory over Zdena BLASKOVA of Czech Republic. In the ultimate match she recovered from 2:0 in reverse.

ZHOU Chuyi beat KOLISH but suffered against lower ranked Ekaterina ZIRONOVA of Russia.
