Top seeds showed no mercy

Top seeds in their respective groups in ETTU Cup Women GDCS Juncal Sparvägen BTK and CTT Balaguer – Villart Logistic justified their rankings.  

 

In Group A with three victories in three matches GDCS Juncal with Mitsuki YOSHIDA Tatiana GARNOVA Raonel ANDRADE and Patricia Maciel justified their rankings but for Istanbul BBSK it was reverse scenario. Turkish side suffered by the hands of Portugal’s club players and also lost the match against Spanish representative Tecnigen LINARES. The hosts club composed of Zita ZIRCISI XU Shibo and Gloria PANADERO concluded the second stage of the event at position no. two and booked their place in the next round.

 

In Group C Sparvägen BTK secured the top place at the standings. Ellen HALMSTEN Stina ZETTERSTROM Sannamari BOLENIUS prevailed in all four matches. Dozy Den Helder / Noordkop with Melanie BIERDRAGER Ana GOGORITA Yoeke GUNSING Anita LIENOS Shuohan MEN and Lisa van TONGEREN is second.

 

In Group D Spanish CTT Balaguer – Villart Logistic showed no mercy in Group D. TING TING Wang YON LAN Li and Carmen DORCA LAREDANA won all three matches. ADC Ponta do Pargo failed to meet the expectation. No. Two seed lost their encounter against the group winners and suffered by the hands of TT Vedrinamur the hosts of the Group. Morgane GUIDON Natacha KOZULAP Alicia DUBOIS and Stephanie PREUDHOMME guided the team to the next stage.
