Croatia beat Belarus in the opening match of the second round

ITTF European Championships Qualifications 2016-2017

Croatia kick start the second round of the ITTF European Championships Qualifications 2016-2017 day earlier then most of the teams. In Varazdin hosts beat Belarus the team that came without Vladimir SAMSONOV.

After full distance encounter between Tomislav PUCAR and Aliaksandar KHANIN the hosts were in the driving seats. Andrej GACINA faced no problems against Pavel PLATONOV whilst Frane KOJIC also needed only three games to beat Gleb SHAMRUK.

Croatia – Belarus 3:0

Tomislav PUCAR – Aliaksandar KHANIN 3:2 (9:11 11:7 16:14 9:11 11:7)

Andrej GACINA – Pavel PLATONOV 3:0 (11:9 11:8 11:5)
