Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor leaves France with win

ETTU Cup

French representatives had mixed fortune tonight. Stella Sport La Romagne in front of 500 spectators beat Russia’s UMMC in impressive style in Men’s ETTU Cup semis. Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor made their life easier with away win over French CP Lyssois Lille Metropole in the first match of the Women’s ETTU Cup semi final.

 

It was not a dream start for the the team for Turkey at all. WU Yue gave 3:0 lead to the host team after victory over Aleksandra PRIVALOVA. However it did not affect European champion’s game. HU Melek leveled the match in her first enter to playing arena. Agnès LE LANNIC and latter WU Yue could not stop her. In the decisive game PRIVALOVA overcame her starting defeit and beat LE LANNIC.

 

CHEN Tianyuan and WEI Shiaho gave Stella Sport La Romagne dream start with two straight games victories over Andrej GACINA and Alexander SHIBAEV. In the last attempt to make a match little bit longer Grigory VLASOV streched Adrian CRISAN to full five matches but failed to produce the victory.

 

In other Women’s semi final Tigem SC Ankara will play against TTC Kazan tomorrow; in Men’s SPG Walter Wels will play against Vaillante Sports Angers TT on Sunday.
