German side defeated reigning champion AS Pontoise Cergy in the returning semi-final game 3:1 (3:0 1st leg)

Record holder with 10 titles Borussia Dusseldorf joined triple winner Fakel Gazprom Orenburg in the 2016/17 Table Tennis Champions League Men after 3:1 home win against reigning champion AS Pontoise Cergy. German side was more convincing in the first leg held four weeks ago in France when they won 3:0.

Two Sweden`s players and doubles partners Kristian KARLSSON and Mattias KARLSSON met in the opener. Tristan FLORE beat European legend Timo BOLL second time in two TTCLM seasons. Frenchman did it after full five games.

Youngest Bourssia`s player Anton KALLBERG concluded the clash by his win over Niagol STOYANOV.
