Bursa closed group stage with fourth consecutive win

Seamaster ECLW: Bursa Buyuksehir Belediyespor – UCAM Cartagena 3:1

 

Last year`s ETTU Cup Women winner Bursa Buyuksehir Belediyespor beat UCAM Cartagena in the Round 4 to confirm its top position. Turkish team continues in the quarter-finals with all four wins as one of three unbeaten teams so far.

 

Spanish side had a good start as Matilda EKHOLM upset LEE Ho Ching after full five games. Sweden`s player reversed the score from 0:2 to 3:2. Next two games were decided in straight games. Yana NOSKOVA beat WANG Zhipei while HU Melek overcame Sara RAMIREZ.

 

LEE played one more tense and close game against WANG. Guest managed to level the score 2:2 in spite of being two sets behind but host won ultimate set by a narrow margin (14:12) to secure new win for Bursa.
