ECLW Round 1: HAN Ying secures win for Tarnobrzeg

Polish champion beat Austria`s LZ Linz Froschberg 3:1

 

European Champions League Women No. 2 seed KTS Tarnobrzeg prevailed against new ECLW participant from Austria LZ Linz Froschberg 3:1 in the Round 1 of Group D. HAN Ying has provided two points for the host side as she overcame Marharyta BALTUSHITE in the opener and WU Yue in the ultimate clash. Recently crowned European champion in Women Singles LI Qian beat HO Tintin in straight games of the third encounter.

 

American player WU Yue actual World No. 52 leveled the score to 1:1 after second game as he beat 2015 ITTF-European Championships winner Elizabeta SAMARA in four games. WU extended HAN to full distance but lost fifth set by a narrow margin.
