TTCLM: FRANZISKA and CHEN lead their teams to victory

Group C: FC Saarbrucken – Rosklide Bordtennis BTK61 3:1 Group B: Stella Sport La Romagne – K.S. Dekorglass Dzialdowo 3:1

 

Saarbucken and Stella Sport La Romagne have improved their season’s win-loss record to 2-1 as they beat Roskilde and Dekorglass Dzialdowo 3:1 each in their respective groups. Actual World no. 15 Patrick FRANZISKA has provided two points for Saarbrucken like CHEN Tian Yuan did for French side.

 

German club won first two encounters against Roskilde thanks to FRANZISKA and Cristian PLETEA while former European champion Michael MAZE prevented host team to win in straight games. Dane beat one of biggest Old Continent’s talents Tomas POLANSKY who made his comeback after shoulder surgery. FRANZISKA secured important victory for his team as he overcame ZHAI Yujia in the fourth clash.

 

Last year’s ETTU Cup winner Stella Sport La Romagne beat current champion of that competition K.S. Dekorglass Dzialdowo. Teams were leveled after two matches but Brice OLIVIER and CHEN Tian Yuan have provided two wins against Pawel FERTIKOWSKI and Jiri VRABLIK respectively.
