UCAM Cartagena in run for third title

Second leg of the ETTU Women’s Cup quarterfinal

 

Tonight three more clubs progressed to the semi final of the Women’s ETTU Cup. After CP Lyssois Lille Métropole their place in the best four booked: SH-ITB Budaörsi 2i Sport Club ALCL TT Grand-Quevilly and UCAM Cartagena.

 

Easier than in opening leg SH-ITB Budaörsi 2i Sport Club overcame TTC Kazan in Russia. Antonina SAVELYEVA was the only player who scored for hosts. Szandra PERGEL was the backbone of Budaörsi’s success. She overcame both Anna BIKBAEVA and Antonina SAVELYEVA.

 

ALCL TT Grand-Quevilly prevailed against LZ Linz Froschberg after full distance encounter. WU Jiaduo won both matches for hosts but French club has more powerfull team. Galia DVORAK SUN Jiay and TIAN Yuan all scored for ALCL TT Grand-Quevilly.

 

Winners from 2009 and 2010 UCAM Cartagena beat TMK Tagment Taganrog after they lost 2:3 in the opening leg. Only Maria XIAO was strecehed to full distance match against Yulia PROKHOROVA whilst XIN Liu and Silvija ERDELYI concluded their duels in three games.
