CEKIC returned to team of Montenegro

Balkan Senior Championships

 

The Balkan Senior Championships started today in Podgorica Montenegro (31 July – 04 August) in Sport Hall “Verde”.

 

The Championships commenced with the Teams Events. In Men’s Teams Event In Group A are Turkey Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Group B play Italy Kosovo North Macedonia and Albania whilst in Group C are Slovenia Serbia Montenegro and Greece. In Women’s Teams Event in Group A are Turkey Romania and Italy. In Group B are Slovenia Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina whilst in Group C are Serbia Montenegro North Macedonia and Albania.

 

Last Senior Championships was held in 2001 in Plovdiv. Since then BTTU organised only Under 21 events but now they returned to no age – limit event.

 

Team of Montenegro is reinforced for this occasion. After three years break Irfan CEKIC will play again for the national team.
