TTCLM: Quadri ARUNA carries Sporting to victory

Table Tennis Champions League Men Round 3

 

Two former TTCLM quarter-finalists Sporting Clube de Portugal and GV Hennebont TT met in Lisbon as Portugal champion won 3:1 to improve its Group D win-loss record to 2-1 while French team has 1-2 after three rounds.

 

Nigerian Quadri ARUNA paved the way to Sporting’s victory securing two points against Cedric NUYTINCK and FAN Sheng Peng. First two encounters both stretched to full distance determined the winner: Quadri ARUNA – Cedric NUYTINCK 3:2 and Diogo CARVALHO – FAN Sheng Peng 3:2.
