The Table Tennis Championships Men will be held from 11th to 18th December and it will be played in Germany’s city of Düsseldorf. In the TTCL 15 teams had reconfirmed participation by signing the conditions of participation. The group draw for the remaining positions will be held on Tuesday 17th November at 1200 CET and you can follow it live on our Facebook page.
As previously confirmed the teams already drawn into positions 1 and 2 in the groups remain unchanged .
Two Russia’s and two Germany’s clubs leading the four Groups in the Group phase .Russia’s Fakel-Gazprom Orenburg is the leader at the seedings and at the top of the Group A. The winners from previous season and quarterfinalist this year are in the same Group as Poland’s KS Dartom Bogoria Grodzisk Mazowiecki.
Another Russia’s club TTSC “UMMC” is at the top of the Group B. They will meet Portugal’s Sporting Clube de Portugal and stage one winner. In Group C is this season Bundesliga winner and surprising quarterfinalist of the Champions League Men Germany’s 1. FC Saarbrücken TT. They will play against Denmark’s Roskilde Bordtennis BTK 61. Winners two years ago Germany’s Borussia Düsseldorf is at the top of the Group D. In the same group is French GV Hennebont TT.
The stage 1 round having been cancelled as the teams will start in the group stage.

For the Bubble format event the playing system was changed into the playing format with 4 groups in first phase. The quarter finals are reincluded into the Champions League men the group winners and group runners-up will qualify for the knock out stage.
The group phase will be played during the first 3 days of the competition on 2 tables where each team competes once against all other teams of their group. Each team will have one match per day. The group winners and runners-up proceed to the knock out stage (quarter-finals). KO stage will be played on one table. The draw for the KO stage will be made after completion of the group stage.
