Iulian CHIRITA showed powerful game at Youth Top 10

Cadet Boys Event

 

In Cadet Boys Event at the European Youth Top 10 Iulian CHIRITA of Romania and Felix LEBRUN of France topping the standings after the five rounds of the play. They both lost one match CHIRITA yesterday and LEBRUN today.

 

At the beginning of the day CHIRITA met his teammate Andrei Teodor ISTRATE and lost only one game.

 

“I felt the ball very well. I also played safe on the table. I feel good here and I am satisfied with my performance. Against Lleyton ULLMANN of Germany I had a good start. I had 2:0 lead but he took next game by nine points and it fourth he almost leveled. It was 11:10 12:11. I had to play at my best to finish the match before the decisive game ” said CHIRITA.

 

Jakub GOLDIR of Slovakia also failed to find the answer for Iulian’s very aggressive game.

 

“I played very powerful game. The key was backhand and middle of the table ” added CHIRITA.

 

Top seeded Darius MOVILEANU lost to Felix LEBRUN in Round 5 but previously beat Jakub GOLDIR and Lleyton ULLMANN. Beside Darius Felix overcame Spain’s Daniel BERZOSA and suffered by the hands of Poland’s Mateusz ZALEWSKI. Polish player started the day unbeaten but lost to Romania’s Andrei Teodor ISTRATE.
