POLCANOVA: We have to think positive

Austria’s Sofia POLCANOVA keeps her body in good shape but she also found the way to keep her mind busy.

“Mostly I spend my time at home with my fiancé. Sometimes I go out for some walk or to buy food but I always try to keep the distance from people or walk in less crowded places ” said POLCANOVA.

Challenge of staying in good shape is accepted:

“I do workout every day I got special programm from my fitness coach. Of course this is not the same but in these times we have to adjust to our conditions and think positive. There are plenty of exercises which I can do at home.”

There is a new thing to do as well:

“The new thing which I am doing everyday is yoga. I did mobilisation exercises before but this is something new what I am trying now. Also I have more time to read books or to analyse table tennis videos.”

The recommendations for long hours at home:

“The name of the book which I recently read is „The subtle art of not giving a f…“ from Mark Manson. For TV series I would recommend „Friends“ it never gets old and it is very positive or „This is us“. “

And the message is for all people:

“Stay calm and positive! Don‘t underestimate the situation but please also don‘t overreact find the golden middle. Only together we can get through these hard times so follow the rules and wash your hands! If we all understand the situation it will be over sooner!”
