Dora MADARASZ led CP Lyssois Lille Métropole to first win

The winners of the ETTU Cup in 2016 French CP Lyssois Lille Métropole won the opening match in the Group A at the first day of the play at Tamanneftegas Women’s Europe Cup

In the opening duel Swede Linda BERGSTROM struggled to find the game for the Aikaterini TOLIOU’s defensive style of play. Two opening games went easily on Greek’s player account. The game heated up in the third, but it was to late for BERGSTROM.

It proved as a tactically hard match. In the second duel Dora MADARASZ responded quickly to French teams advantage. In the duel against Chiara COLANTIONI she was in the driving seat and leveled the match to 1:1 after win in four games.

In the match against two experienced backspin artists Agnes LE LANNIC and Krisztina NAGY it was French player who prevailed. On her second exit to the table MADARASZ needed some time to find the rhythm against Aikaterini TOLIOU, but from the second game held her grip firm.

Both my duels today were difficult. I have played against COLANTONI for a first time. In addition I thought the game will start much slower, but very quickly both of us were in the strong rhythm. I love to play against players with defending style and Linda also helped me with few tips for the match against TOLIOU. It did not work at the start, I made my life complicated in the opening game, but after that I felt and I played better,” said MADARASZ.
